THE BEST VEGAN FRIENDLY PLACES TO EAT IN BOURNEMOUTH By Sarah-Louise (@secretvegangirl), Steph (@happylittlebutternutsquish) & Sally (@sallybekind)

Dirty Vegans is an epic vegan hotspot that opened it’s doors early in 2019 – and hotspot it most definitely is, with queues of people eager to tuck into some out of this world comfort food! A must visit venue situated on Christchurch Road, Boscombe. Exciting menu filled with epic junk food specials!

What we loved:

Where do we start?… The venue styling and menu have been carefully created & combine what the vegan scene is missing in so many towns, somewhere with comfort food so good, that even your non-vegan friends will be hooked….  they’ve completely and utterly nailed it.

There’s an amazing selection of burgers, loaded fried, mac n cheese, soft serve ice cream (!) and sweet treats too.

The walls are filled with fun vegan slogans, the space is really Instagrammable and the booths and seating areas are cosy; perfect after indulging in a junk food feast… you’ll definitely want to stay a while.

Burgers include the famous “Beyond Burger” & “Moving Mountains” burger – Life doesn’t get much better!

Don’t miss the thickshakes! They’re quite simply epic!… Our personal fave was the one topped with Lotus biscuits, so delish that we managed to devour it before even thinking about food – oops!

We’ll definitely be heading back soon to check out more of the menu (and secret menu!) so expect more to be added to our list.. Totally awesome JUNK FOOD FEAST!

100% plant-based and organic venue on The Triangle, Bournemouth. Casual dining in a totally gorgeous, super stylish venue. Exciting menu with a mix of creative dishes and something for everyone to try.

What we loved:

Whether people are visiting for coffee, cold pressed juices, straight from the gym, for lunch, dinner or cocktails this is a really welcoming and classy venue with beautiful decor and a great, friendly vibe.

The interior styling includes green and pale pink colours against exposed brickwork and beautiful touches like marble tables and gold cutlery – we’re so in love! Speaking to the owners, we learnt about the conscious choices they made when designing the venue, from the mock leather chairs to the animal free glue used in the furniture production, the finished venue looks effortlessly stunning.

Dishes are prepared with an immense amount of knowledge and passion and even the drinks are organic!

There’s a wonderful selection to choose from on the menu, the “Salt Baked Smoked Celeriac” on the starters menu looks too pretty to eat and tastes insanely good. The “Feijoada” from the main course menu is an authentic Brazilian dish, essentially a stew, but not like any other… a total taste sensation, beautifully presented with colour and flavours that compliment each other perfectly. The “Truffle Mac ‘N’ Cheese” will leave you feeling all warm inside… And make sure you try the “B-Twelve Burger”, a unique recipe served with smoked gouda, Iceburg lettuce, tomato, pickles, hand cut chips and not forgetting a yummy house slaw! It’s divine comfort food at it’s best… and wholesome too.

You’ll feel spoilt for choice when you see the menu, so invite ALL your friends, over order and try as much of the menu as possible (you’ll thank us later!).

A bustling cafe with an eclectic bohemian vibe on Christchurch Road in Boscombe. We had the pleasure of chatting with Owner Rich about the inspiration behind Cafe Boscanova and his passion to deliver first class vegan options.

What we loved:

Super friendly staff and a great venue for coffee lovers, with coffee served in cute, branded mugs.

They serve a yummy Kombucha too – one of our faves, and with metal straws too… the perfect finishing touch!

The eclectic decor and great vibes. Amazing selection of yummy vegan options to choose from. The breakfast plate gets a big thumbs up, it’s loaded to the brim and tastes out of this world. The pancakes are insanely tasty and the Acai bowl is definitely one to check out too – it’s bursting with so much flavour and goodness.

These guys rock, the menu options for vegans are spot on (especially for a not exclusively vegan foodie hang out!) – We can’t wait to head back soon.

Relaxed and cosy setting on Christchurch Road. Situated within Boscombe’s popular yoga lounge, you’re immediately greeted with a relaxed atmosphere and lovely people. Family run, Kind opened it’s doors in January 2019 and offers fabulous organic, plant based food.

Exclusively vegan.

What we loved:

Walking through the doors on a somewhat grey day, we were instantly restored to calm with the beautiful scents and relaxed vibe.

Think mix and match tables and furniture, plush vintage looking sofas and a cool mix of non matching bowls and plates that compliment the gorgeous surroundings just as they should.

The Rose and Matcha Lattes both taste like heaven (and are photogenic little beauties!) and we highly recommend checking out one of the uplifting juices too (served with a metal straw!).

The Buddha salad bowl was simply divine and a perfect combo of wholesome delicious grub made with real love and passion. Be sure to check out the pancakes that taste quite simply out of this world and if you’re stopping by at breakfast or brunch time, the Acai bowl is…. delish!

Think relaxed, eclectic surroundings and food prepared with love…. A big thumbs up from us.

Mexican inspired street food in Commercial Road Bournemouth. Expect to try a great selection of dishes as you work through the fabulous menu and tapas dishes! Separate vegan menu which was one of the first in Bournemouth. Award winning bartenders and huge,(and we mean huge), cocktail menu.

What we loved:

The stylish decor with an emphasis on up-cycling and one off pieces. Cushions made from recycled coffee sacks (from South America!) that look super cool… The fairy lights that are a cute addition to the beautiful decor.

Expect scrumptious tapas and an extra special tequila menu and get ready for a fun night out!

The Vegan menu is exciting and very well put together. We especially loved the Pulled Jackfruit & the Wild Mushroom Tostadas and the House Greens with Green beans, mange tout and sugar snap peas sautéed with chestnuts, almonds and orange zest are delish!

Although this isn’t an exclusively vegan venue, the team are super knowledgeable on the vegan options and the service is first class to match the food. The perfect venue for a night out with friends or equally for a date night for two… Enjoy!

A delightful coffee hub and foodie spot for people wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. Situated on Richmond Hill, Bournemouth. Great food with tonnes of plant based options, fresh, locally sourced ingredients and epic coffee – most of the coffee they serve is supplied by the locally famous “Bad Hand Coffee” who are based in Bournemouth and deliver each day on a bike – Love it!

What we loved:

The team are super cool and very friendly and make you feel very welcome whether you’re visiting for a quick coffee, breakfast or lunch.

A unique space with a cool design, a great place to relax as you enjoy brunch with friends or equally as you sit and enjoy a coffee as you work through your morning emails.

The delicious, cleansing juices are totally uplifting, the perfect way kick start your day and get your creative juices flowing!

The “Morning Glory” is totally delish; filled with homemade granola, chia porridge, pistachio, berries and coconut yogurt – yum! And the Aussie inspired “Bondi Breakfast” vegan style is out of this world, avo on toast, mouth watering corn fritters, grilled tom’s, gerkins and mushrooms served with a yummy chilli jam.

These guys take great pride in reducing their environmental impact as a business – take away cups and boxes are fully decompostible, they don’t use straws and they’re working towards making a zero-waste coffee house. A wonderful place all round.

The fab range of vegan options – there’s not just one or two, these guys have really gone to town with inclusive vegan offerings.

Exciting ever evolving menu, with flavours ranging from original sugar or cinnamon right through to an epic pina colada special.

Yummy milkshakes, big doughnuts, big flavours and a fabulously creatively team serving up awesome sweet treats!

Eat in or grab a box to take home! This is a great place to add to your list when visiting Bournemouth.
